College Life Coaching

“As a college girl, you no doubt look to your parents to help you make good decisions and make sense of this new time in your life. Thing is, you’re not their little girl any more, and you need them to remember this when you come to them for support. College Life Coaching with Shannon is like parental support without the parenting!”

If you’re a college girl, college life coaching is for you! At GGR, we define a college girl as any 17-25 year old young lady who is planning for, currently attending or recently graduated from college.

College is a huge time of transition and learning, and I’m not talking just academic learning but really beginning to learn about who you are and what kind of life you want to create for yourself. For many if not all college girls, this time can be a whole lot of fun, but it can also be confusing, overwhelming and downright frustrating.

As your coach, I can help you make sense of all the stuff that doesn’t make sense, so you can recognize and focus on what really matters.

Managing, surviving and settling are simply not acceptable! I want you to thrive throughout your college experience and to look back on your college years as some of the best years of your life.

If you feel like you are doing everything you are “supposed” to be doing and things still just don’t feel right and you’re thinking to yourself things like –“Life isn’t supposed to be so hard” or “there just has to be more” — College Life Coaching is for YOU!

College Parent Coaching & Support

Do you have a daughter who is planning for, attending or recently graduated from college? Then College Parent Coaching is for you.

If you’re serious about supporting your college girl as she gets real, you may want (or need) to do a little bit of exploring of your own around the whole idea of getting real. This is not only a time of significant transition for your college girl but also for you as her parent or guardian.

Shannon partners with parents and guardians of 17-25 year old college girls to help them gain perspective on and address the challenges, blessings and unique opportunities for parenting as your college girl moves into adulthood.

As the parent of a college girl, you are now the parent of an emerging adult and, as a result, your relationship with your daughter is likely changing. Your college girl needs you to support her without telling her what to do and to let her make her own decisions, all the while letting her know that you are there to help her pick herself up if she stumbles.

So how the heck do you effectively parent your college girl as she winds her way through this time of transition, confusion and freedom? As your coach, I’m here to help you figure that out!
